Irjah in shia Faith

We all know that the sign of murjiah, their idea that emaan doesn’t increase or reduce, and that deeds has no impact on the faith.

Kulayni in “Kafi” dedicated complete chapter for this view.
It called:

“Faith, doesn’t harm by (bad) deed, and in the same way disbelief, doesn’t benefit with it (good) deed”.

In this chapter (2/464) he gave some ahadeth, and among them:

From Abu Abdullah (alaihi salam): “Doesn’t harm with faith (bad) deeds, and doesn’t benefit with disbelief (good) deeds, don’t you see Him saying: [Shakir 9:54] “And nothing hinders their spendings being accepted from them, except that they disbelieve in Allah and in His Messenger they died and they were disbelievers (underlined part not in the Quran)”

Majlisi in Mirat said hadith muwathaq as saheeh.

And other one there:

From Abu Abdullah (alaihi salam) which said: “Doesn’t harm with faith (bad) deeds, and doesn’t benefit with disbelief (good) deeds”

Bahbude said it’s saheeh.

So obviously from these ahadeth, rafidah among many other heresies shared such heresy as quluw in irjah.
They do believe, or better to say should believe in accordance to words of their masoom, that if a believer shia would consume alcohol, make zinah, or homosexual acts, these terrible deeds wouldn’t harm if he is faithful.

They narrated Qudsi Hadith, that Allah said:

“Wilayat of Ali is My fortress, and whoever would enter it would be safe from My punishment”. “Biharul anwar” 39/246

And at the page 247 another qudsi hadith:

“If people would gather on the wilayat of Ali, I wouldn’t great the Fire”.

And at 248 from prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa ala alihi wa sallam):

“If people would gather upon love of Ali ibn Abu Talib, alaihi salam, why Allah have to create the fire?”.

So no need for any deed, or better to say deeds are not obligatory. Love Ali, accept his Imamate, and you are immune, would be in the heaven. Like Nasarah which says that love of Isa would enter them to heaven no matter what deed they practise.

  1. Atleast it shows us the belief of Greatest scholar of shiism sheikh kulayni.. Because he believed that whatever he is collecting in his book is sahi(authentic).
