We already talked about this shaykh and gave example of his lies here.
Now we want to present new example of lie from him.
This shaykh said in the same book “Difa an Kafi” ( p 237):
Word – “Ask me” which wasn’t said from companions by anyone except Ali (alaihi salam).
And this claim is nothing but a clear lie.
Imam Bukhari narrated in his Saheeh chapter of Tafsir Number 4449:
أخبرني يعلى بن مسلم وعمرو بن دينار عن سعيد بن جبير يزيد أحدهما على صاحبه وغيرهما قد سمعته يحدثه عن سعيد بن جبير قال إنا لعند ابن عباس في بيته إذ قال سلوني
Ya’la ibn Muslim and ‘Amr ibn Dinar related from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, one adding to one another, and others also heard it related from Sa’id. He said, “While we were with Ibn ‘Abbas in his his house, he said, ‘Ask me.’ I said, ‘O Abu’l-‘Abbas, amy Allah make me your ransom! There is a man in Kufa called Nawf who claims that he is not the Musa of the Banu Isra’il'”
Al Hakim narrated in Mostadrak (3178), and authenticated hadith upon condition of two shaykhs:
عن بن أبي مليكة قال سمعت بن عباس رضى الله تعالى عنهما يقول سلوني عن سورة النساء فأني قرأت القرآن وأنا صغير هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يخرجاه
From ibn Abu Muleyka: I heard ibn Abbas may Allah be pleased with them, said: Ask me about Surah an-Nisa, indeed I read Quran and I was little boy”.
So obviously al-Amidi lied when he claimed that no one except Ali ever said to people: Ask me.

وأخبرنا عبد الوارث بن سفيان حدثنا قاسم بن أصبغ نا أحمد بن زهير نا إبراهيم بن بشار نا سفيان بن عيينة قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سعيد بن المسيب قال ما كان أحد من الناس يقول سلوني غير علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه
Weak. In the chain Ibrahim ibn Bashar narrated from Sufyan.
In Tahzib al-Kamal, al-Mizzi wrote:
وقال عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل سمعت أبي يقول كأن سفيان الذي يروي عنه إبراهيم بن بشار ليس هو سفيان بن عيينة
And Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal said I heard my father saying: Sufyan from whom Ibrahim ibn Bashar narrated is not Sufyan ibn Ueyna.
وقال أيضا سمعت أبي ذكر إبراهيم بن بشار الرمادي فقال كان يحضر معنا عند سفيان بن عيينة فكان يملي على الناس ما يسمعون من سفيان وكان ربما أملى عليهم ما لم يسمعوا ويقول كان يغير الألفاظ فيكون زيادة ليس في الحديث
And he also said: I heard my father mentioned Ibrahim ibn Bashar ar-Rimadi: He use to be with us in the presence of Sufyan ibn Ueyna and he dictated upon people what he heard from Sufyan, and SOMETIMES DICTATED WHAT HE DIDN’T HEAR, and he said: He use to change texts of ahadeth and happen addition what was not from ahadeth.
وقال معاوية بن صالح سألت يحيى بن معين عنه فقال ليس بشيء لم يكن يكتب عند سفيان وما رأيت في يده قلما قط وكان يملي على الناس ما لم يقله سفيان
And Muawiyah ibn Salih said: I asked Yahya ibn Maeen about him, he said: He was nothing, he didn’t wrote in the presence of Sufyan and I didn’t see in his hands pen ever, and he dictated upon people what Sufyan didn’t say.
وقال النسائي ليس بالقوي وقال أبو الفتح محمد بن الحسين الأزدي الموصلي صدوق لكنه يهم في الحديث بعد الحديث
Nasai said: Not strong, and Abul Fath Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Azdi al-Mawsili: Saduq, but he erred in ahadeth after ahadeth.
Imam Bukhari in his “Tareeh al-Kabir” said about this Ibrahim:
سمع بن عيينة يهم في الشيء بعد الشيء
Heard Sufyan and erred in things after (erred) in (other) things.
Again you are wrong!!
Narration of Ibrahim bin Basyaar from Sufyan has mutaba’ah from Utsman bin Abi Syaibah [Fadhail Ash Shahabah no 1098]
حدثنا عبد الله نا عثمان بن أبي شيبة نا سفيان عن يحيى بن سعيد قال أراه عن سعيد قال لم يكن أحد من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول سلوني الا علي بن أبي طالب
The muhaqiq of the book Fadhail Shahabah said the isnad is sahih
