Compilation of Quran and corruption in it from shia sources

Shia scholar, Ahmad ibn Abu Talib Tabarsi in “Ihtijaj” 1/205-208, narrates falsely on the authority of Abu Zarr al-Ghafari (R.A.):

“When the Holy Prophet passed away, ‘Ali gathered the Qur’an and produced it to the Immigrants (the Muslims who immigrated from Mecca to Madina) and the Ansar (the people of Madina who supported Prophet Mohammad and became Muslims) as the Holy Prophet had bided him to do so. When Abu Bakr opened the first page, he found some denunciation of the Quraish tribe. At this, ‘Umar leapt forward and said: “O ‘Ali, take it back for we are not in need of it.” Ali took it back. Just then Zaid ibn Thabit, a prominent reciter of the Qur’an appeared, and ‘Umar told him: “‘Ali was here a short while ago with a Qur’an which despises the Immigrants and the Al-Ansar . I think we should compile such a Qur’an wherein all these aspects are omitted.” Zaid agreed with him, but he added: “Once I have completed the Qur’an according to this method and ‘Ali sees it, will your version be not invalidated?” ‘Umar then asked: “What trick should we employ then?” Zaid replied: “You know better of such tricks.” At this, ‘Umar said: “There is no roundabout trick but to kill Ali and be relieved from him in this way.” ‘Umar then thought of having him killed by Khalid bin Al-Walid, but this plan failed. When ‘Umar assumed the leadership of Muslims after some time, the people asked Ali to present his Qur’an. ‘Umar asked him: “O ‘Ali, present the Qur’an which you showed Abu Bakr so that we may agree on it.” At this, ‘Ali said: “This is not possible, I only showed it to Abu Bakr so that the proof may be established on you people, and so that you may not say on the day of Judgement: “We were unaware of it,” “You did not produce it.” The Qur’an in my possession will not be touched except by the pure, and the designated ones of my family.” ‘Umar asked: “Is the time known when it will be presented.” Upon this Ali replied: “Yes, when the Saviour of Times (Shia’s Imam Mahdi) emerges, it will be presented and all the people will agree to it.”

Reality of the crisis between the Shia scholars and the Quran

The Fractious Schizophrenia
(Discussing the reality of the crisis between the Shia scholars and the Quran)

Preface:

The purpose of this brief study is to show the ‘Aqaed(beliefs) the Twelver Shia sect has concerning the holy book of Allah, and how their ‘Aqeedah(belief) pushes them away from this book and alienates them from it.

There is a crisis between the Shia scholars and the book of Allah, a crisis they will not admit to having in any debate or interview because the only thing they care about is to win and look as best as they can in the eyes of the people. this study shall uncover this crisis by exposing the root of the problem, a set of corrupt beliefs that the Shia scholars hold on to as part of their ‘Aqeedah (Which they attribute to Ahlul-Bayt). Commentary of Surah at-Tin

We have already gave an example of commentary of this surah from shia source. This is the second one.

Shaykh of shias Mirza Muhammad al-Mamiqani in his “Huroof an-Noraniya” (p 209) narrated from imam ar-Rida:

Translation:

From Muhammad ibn Fudayl: I said to Abul Hasan ar-Rida (alaihi salam): Tell me about words of Allah “I swear by the fig and the olive” till the end of the Surah. He said: “I swear by the fig and the olive” THAT IS HASAN AND HUSAYN. I asked: (what about) ” And mount Sinai”?  He said that is not “وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ” but it is “طُورِ سِيناء”. I said: طُورِ سِيناء?? He said: Yes, and that is commander of faithful. I said: (and what about) ” And this city made secure”? He said: That is messenger of Allah (sallalahu alaihi wa ali), people became safe by him, if they obey him…

Surah al-Ahzab was longer than Baqarah and was CORRUPTED

Faydh al-Kashani in “Tafsir as-Safi” (4/209), and Huwayzi in “Noor as-Saqalayn” (4/233):

في ثواب الأعمال والمجمع عن الصادق عليه السلام من كان كثير القراءة لسورة الأحزاب كان يوم القيامة في جوار محمد صلى الله عليه وآله وأزواجه وزاد في ثواب الأعمال ثم قال سورة الأحزاب فضحت نساء قريش من العرب وكانت أطول من سورة البقرة ولكن نقصوها وحرفوها

In Thawabul Amal (of shaykh Saduq) and al-Majmua from Sadiq (alaihi salam): Who would read a lot Surah al-Ahzab, in the doomsday he would be in the vicinity of Muhammad (sallalahu alaihi wa ali) and his wives, and in Thawabul Amal addition: then he said: Surah al-Ahzab exposed women of Quraish from Arabs, and IT WAS LONGER THAN SURAH AL-BAQARAH, BUT (IT WAS) SHORTENED AND CORRUPTED.

Tafsir as-Safi:

Noor as-Saqalayn:

Biharul Anwar (89/288):

Commentary of Fatiha from Hashim Bahrani

What else if not another example of IDIOTIC and BATENE commentary you would see here? Sorry, don’t blame us, blame shia scholars. They filled their books with such mocking of Allah and His Book.

Shaykh of shias Hashim al-Bahrani in his “Maalimal Zulfa” (1/110): Continue reading

Shia version and tafsir of 91 verse from al-Baqarah

Allah Taala said in His Book in surah al-Baqarah:

(91) When it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah Hath sent down, “they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us:” yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them. Say: “Why then have ye slain the prophets of Allah in times gone by, if ye did indeed believe?”

Shaykh of shias Hashim al-Bahrani explained this verse in his book “Al-Lawami an-Noraniyah” (p 23):

Translation:

24 (verse) – and it is Truth confirming what is with them in words of Taala: When it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah Hath sent down, “they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us:” yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them.

Ayashi: Jabir said that Abu Jafar said: THIS VERSE WAS REVEALED UPON MUHAMMAD IN THIS FORM: And when it is said to them, what your Lord has revealed about Ali – (them) mean Banu Umeyyah. we do believe what was revealed upon us – meaning in their souls, and disbelieve all besides what Allah revealed about Ali, and  it is Truth confirming what is with them – meaning Ali.

al-Khoei on the corruption (Tahreef) of the Quran

The grand Shia scholar al-Mirza Habibullah al-Khoei in his famous sharh called “Minhaj al-Bara’ah fi Sharh Nahjul Balagha” discusses the corruption of the Quran. This isn’t the same al-Khoei, author of Mu`jam Rijaal al-Hadeeth. This is Habib Allaah al-Khoei who was born in the year 1261 or 1268 and died in the year 1324. He is buried in the Ra’y in the shrine of `Abd al-`Adheem al-Hussayni. Minhaaj al-Baraa`ah fee SharH Nahj al-Balaaghah (منهاج البراعة في شرح نهج البلاغة) is one of his many books. His book is actually one of more famous commentaries of Nahj al-BalaaghahContinue reading
