“One cannot be a Sunni unless hating Ali …” – Blatant lie attributed to Imam Ahmad!

By Ebn Hussein | Gift2Shias

Many Sunnis who are ignorant of Shiism and its vile and hateful nature are often completely perplexed when they hear the first time how many Shiites (more so before the age of social media and Internet) actually believe that Sunnis hate or dislike Ali/Ahlul Bayt, or at least Sunni scholars. This is an ancient lied with which every single (religious) Shiite is brainwashed with from young age by their clergy in order to keep them away from Muslims/Sunnis and from the true, balanced and middle path, the path of the victorious sect, the Ahlus-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah, the lover of the Ahlul Bayt and Sahabah.

Shia scholars have gone as far as to claim that the greatest Imams of the Ahlus-Sunnah did not just hated ‘Ali but also stipulated that one can’t be a true Sunnis unless hating ‘Ali, even if it’s a little! This might sound as nonsense to you, which of course it is, but keep in mind that many Shias are lied to from young age. However, this is not the era of isolated towns, we are living in an era where the world has become a global village, this means that many ancient lies of the Rafidah, the most lying of all groups and sects, are going to be more and more exposed, In sha Allah.

One of these blatant lies is a statement attributed to Imam Ahmad b. Hanbal, the Imam of the Sunnah. It is attributed to Imam Ahmad that he said:

“لا يكون الرجل سنيا حتى يبغض علياً قليلا”

“One cannot be a Sunni unless hating Ali a little bit.”

One many notorious Shia websites and in several languages the above lie can be found to this day. The following is a screenshot from a infamous Arabic Shia websit by the Lebanese “Ayatullah” Ja’far Murtada al-‘Amili:

The following is a almost hour long lecture by the arch-liar (imagine how much more lies his other lectures contain!)Yasser al-Habib based on the very blatant lie which is attributed to Imam Ahmad:

Same lie repeated (right at the beginning) by one of his deluded followers:

Now where does this bizarre and Anti-Sunni (portraying a great Sunni Imam as a typical wretched Nasibi i.e.enemy of Ahlul Bayt) statement stem from? From Sunni books maybe? Maybe a weak or fabricated narration in Sunni books at least? No, it is in fact a Shia Twelver (!) report by the heretical Persian Rafidi scholar known as Ibn Babawiye al-Qummi, also known as “al-Saduq” (“the truthful one” who really was a Kadhub i.e. liar, even according to some Shia scholars!) 380AH, one of the greatest scholars of the Rafidi sect!

Al-Saduq (Kadhub) mentions this statment in his “علل الشرائع” (‘Ilal al-Shara’i), the same book of kufr where it is shamelessly stated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) will enter paradise before the Messenger of Allah (صل الله عليه و على آله و سلم).

Now here is tragedy for the Rafidah and an eye-opener for anyone who doubts that the Rafidah are the most lying of all sects:

Let’s forget about the fact that their lying and shameless “scholars” and followers attribute this statement to Imam Ahmad while the statement (even with a fabricated chain of narrations!) cannot be found in Sunni books, the catastrophe for them is that this lie of a statement is not even authentic according to their own standards! Here the full text (Majlisi the liar also narrates it in his Bihar al-Dhulumat wa al-Khurafat):

The first person in the chain is Abu Sa’eed Muhammad b. al-Fadl [al-Nisaburi] who is  Majhul (and he is not the only problem in the chain), i.e. an UNKNOWN narrator according to Shia scholars of hadith. The narration is hence UNRELIABLE even according to Shia standards, however, their propagandists do don’t seem to care, for their aim is to champion their sect, even if it means to follow their whims and desires and to attribute lies to pious man such as Imam Ahmad b. Hanbal who was a lover of ‘Ali b. Abi Talib, had put entire chapters (!) about the merits of ‘Ali, al-Hassan, al-Hussein, Fatimah etc. in his Musnad and in fact narrated more narrations from ‘Ali than from Abu Bakr and ‘Othman put together! In his book “The virtues of the Sahabah”, Imam Ahmad dedicated almost 200 (!) pages to the Chief of the Believer ‘Ali, narrating his virtues.

Yasser al-Habib’s website removed his answer to a question with regards to this lie, the link is broken:

However it can be found on other Shia websites: http://hajrnet.net/hajrvb/showthread.php?t=403002127

The Rafidah

Finally we ask Shia to confront their “scholars”, the age of lying to a flock of sheep in a random village is long over, every lie will be exposed, and every lie will get more open minded Shias a step closer to the truth, which is the opposite of what Twelverism stands for.
